Happy Valley Village is a wonderful hidden gem that truly lives up to its name. I loved the cozy, village-like atmosphere that instantly made me feel relaxed and welcome. The highlight of my visit was the goose stone pot – rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. It’s the kind of comforting dish you’ll keep thinking about long after the meal. Combined with the warm ambiance and friendly service, this restaurant is definitely worth visiting if you’re looking for a unique and satisfying dining experience.

Food tasted good, very interesting and different dining experience. Love the Dong Bei (Northeastern) countryside decor, very colourful and lively. Good services, but the funny thing is the waiter and waitress are polite, but with no smile on the face, very reserved. Hopefully they can improve on this, and might possibly receive more tips with more easy going approach.

Stepping into that restaurant was like stepping through a portal straight back to my hometown in China. The vibrant red and green decor immediately sparked a wave of nostalgia, those familiar decorations and that unmistakable vibe! And the food? Holy moly, truly authentic Northeastern Chinese cuisine! We devoured their famous big iron pot stew with chicken and mushrooms, served with cornbread. Mmmh! Every bite was a burst of flavor, the chicken so tender and juicy – my only wish was for more of those delicious mushrooms! The sweet and sour pork was a revelation, possibly the best I've ever had – perfectly crispy without being chewy, and that perfect balance of sweet and sour. As an appetizer, the five-color potato noodles are an absolute must. The sauce was spot on: a creamy sesame butter blended with a tangy sour sauce, a delightful dance of salty and creamy with a hint of vinaigrette that left me feeling so refreshed! I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. It's a fantastic spot to gather with friends and family!

Made reservation for group of 9 adults for the long weekend. Seating a bit tight and not very comfortable. Ordered the 10 people combo meal with braised beef ribs. We ordered little spicy, but still turns out to be very spicy. Food was great and all the appetizers came very fast. Large portion and good for group sharing.

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ 5/5 An Unforgettable Culinary Experience! The service was absolutely amazing! Most of the staff speak fluent English, making communication effortless. And the food? Simply divine -flavorful, heartwarming, and utterly satisfying! Must-Try Dishes: 1. Braised Pork Belly with Abalone & Sea Cucumber The rich, savory sauce was out of this world. The best dish on the menu! 2. Shovel Stewed Fry Lamb A must-order for lamb lovers! Tender, aromatic, and packed with flavor. 3. Stewed Beef & Tendon (for two) Warning: This portion could easily feed 4-6 people! The beef was melt-in-your-mouth perfection. 4. Fruits Tea (Passion Fruit, Oolong Tea & Lemon) A refreshing, kid-friendly drink with a delightful fruity twist. Ambiance & Vibes: The restaurant's atmosphere is stunning-vibrant red lanterns, strings of chillies, and traditional décor transport you straight to China. The background Chinese music adds a lovely cultural touch, making the dining experience even more immersive. Spice Level & Menu: The food is quite spicy (just like authentic Chinese cuisine!), but you can always request a milder version. The menu itself is creative and fun, offering a great mix of bold flavors. At the End, everyone got a free Popsicle. Final Verdict: A 5/5 experience-absolutely a must-try! Whether you're craving authentic Chinese flavors or just a memorable meal, this place delivers on every level.

We celebrated a 16 person birthday party and we got seated In the private party room! The room was so good for the toddler and 5&9 year old! They just hung out on the bench. The best part is the service. The servers are impeccable, we got 2 $266 meals and they let us customize the drinks and spicy and non spicy for the dishes. They are great staff, every request we made (tissues, more water, ac higher) was always met! I would say the highlight of the food was the mung bean noodle and cumin lamb shovel. The actually iron pots weren’t that good. Both of our pots was actually a tad burnt, it’s hard to overcome the burnt taste. I probably wouldn’t come here again for the large iron pot or the buns (bland) but the staff and the dishes make up for it! Ask them to turn the heater lower to prevent burning. I would recommend for groups less than 15 for the party room!

What a great experience at this restaurant! We came twice this month and the iron pot stew, fried fish platter and shovel fried squid (my favorite). Everything is so flavorful and all the staff are so welcoming!

Came here for the first time and I thought the food was pretty good. Their menu has a huge variety of dishes other than the stone pot. The stone pot portion size was generous. This would be a great place for large parties as you can share many dishes together. They also have specials after 9pm and service was okay.
